What are recurring gifts? 

Recurring gifts are ongoing monthly, quarterly, or annual contributions made automatically via credit card or bank account. While recurring gifts at any frequency are impactful, monthly gifts are the best way to ensure we’re connecting as many kids as possible with the healthy food they need.

Why is monthly and recurring giving so important?

Monthly, quarterly, and annual gifts provide the steady, reliable support we need to help kids get three meals a day, every day – enabling us to use donor dollars wisely and invest in programs that can end childhood hunger for good. With recurring gifts, you also save time and effort and help reduce our administrative costs. That means you can help us devote even more resources to feeding kids.

How do I update my contact information, payment method, or communications preferences?

You can update your information by contacting our Donor Services team at 1-800-222-1767 or emailing Info@strength.org. We care about your privacy, so please do not send your credit/debit card or bank information via email. Our Donor Services hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 9 pm (ET).

We’re committed to using your gifts wisely, so you might be interested to know that giving by bank transfer is the most efficient payment option. It keeps our processing costs down and makes your gifts go further to help kids! To set up an automatic bank transfer, contact us directly.

How will I receive a record of my tax-deductible gifts?

If you have opted into our special community of monthly and recurring donors, you’ll receive an annual statement around early February to help with your taxes. If you wish to receive an itemized record of your gifts, contact us at info@strength.org or call 1-800-222-1767.

How do I change the amount I give or cancel my monthly or recurring gift?

We understand that financial situations can change at any moment. You can increase, decrease, pause, change the frequency, or cancel your recurring gift by contacting our Donor Services team at 1-800-222-1767 or info@strength.org

When will my donation be deducted?

On or around the day that you first made the donation. For example, for monthly gifts, if you made your first gift on March 15th, your next donation will be deducted on or around April 15th.

Can I choose or direct my recurring donations to specific projects or States?

As a recurring donor, your donations provide support where the need is the greatest. Recurring donors fund long-term programs that feed hungry children today and all year long. Because No Kid Hungry focuses on helping as many children as possible, you can trust that your donations are going where they’ll have the biggest impact.

Will my employer match my recurring gift?

No Kid Hungry has an employer matching gift program. If you work for, or are retired from, one of the many companies with a matching gift program, your gift can go twice as far to help kids. See if your employer matches gifts to No Kid Hungry.
