Investing in Communities
When it comes to feeding hungry kids, we don’t want to start from scratch in each community. And we don’t need to. In cities and towns across the country, there are effective programs run by smart community leaders who know local families.
Sometimes the best way we can help kids is to help the people already working in their neighborhoods.
We do that by identifying what they need and helping them get it. Whether that’s refining strategies to reach more kids; grants to hire staff or purchase things like trucks or refrigerators; or technical experts who can help local leaders analyze data and develop new approaches, we go farthest when we go together.
