CEO Pledge to End Summer Hunger

For children who rely on school meals, summer can be the hungriest time of year.

The CEO Pledge to End Summer Hunger is a transformative, urgent movement uniting powerful leaders and brands across industries. The Pledge will revolutionize the fight against childhood summer hunger, increasing the number of children receiving summer meals from 2.8 million to 30 million nationwide.

Hunger Fact:
87%

of kids who historically received free or reduced-price meals at school haven’t had them during
the summer

Learn More About Hunger in America

We arrived at a pivotal inflection point when Congress passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, a bipartisan piece of legislation that allocates funding to provide kids with summertime meals.

But federal legislation is just the beginning.

No Kid Hungry is investing $50 million over the next three years to implement critical state policies and programs in communities across the country, and we need collective action to make this a reality.
