Traditionally, many kids have relied on the meals they get at school each day. But even as school staff and community leaders work to feed students while many school buildings are closed, children are missing the meals they need.
No Kid Hungry has launched a texting hotline to let parents know about emergency food distribution sites in their neighborhoods.
Parents & caregivers can text the word “FOOD” (or “COMIDA”) to 304-304 to find the nearest sites, or they can visit NoKidHungry.org/Help or NoKidHungry.org/Ayuda.
IMPORTANT: Right now, the service is not active in all states. The No Kid Hungry team is working now to expand the service to the entire country.
Below you'll find some promotional assets that you can use on social media to make sure families in your area know these meals are available and where they can find them.
