Kids and families in LA are facing unimaginable loss as they recover from devastating wildfires in the region. Many kids have lost not just their homes, but also their dependable access to school meals. No Kid Hungry is helping hunger heroes on the ground do whatever it takes to feed their students.
No Kid Hungry has worked to combat childhood hunger in California for decades, and we will continue the fight through the aftermath of these wildfires. We created the No Kid Hungry LA Wildfire Response Fund to provide immediate and long-term assistance to our longtime partners on the ground. This new fund will help school districts and local organizations make sure no kid misses a meal as they recover from the fires, and enables us to be there for the long haul as the community rebuilds.
