No Kid Hungry’s “text to find a summer meals site” service went viral. Due to much interest and inquiries questioning if the service was too good to be true, it prompted fact-checking website Snopes.com to investigate and run a story on the service. This moment generated more than 200,000 texts to the service – more than the previous four years combined.
