The popular myth-busting website, Snopes.com, confirmed that texting “FOOD” to 304-304 will provide a list of nearby locations where free meals are available for children during the summer. In late May 2017, Facebook users began to share this summer texting platform, run by No Kid Hungry. When users thought it was too good to be true, Snopes stepped in to prove that the platform is real and connects kids to free summer meals.
